Flora

Inspired by my love of flower Garlands that began on a teaching residency I completed in Nepal in 2011. Nepal is a such a special place and I feel very lucky to have been able to visit there. From the start the uses of flowers for good luck and ritual struck me, and an interest in how we as humans interact with flowers began. Vibrant bursts of colour, delicate layers, dried petals, fresh flowers, bold designs. All of these elements and more inspired me to think about my own ways of stringing flowers together.

Blossom

This collection takes inspiration from the beautiful phenomenon of the Cherry Blossom season. Delicate blossom petals influenced my illustrative designs through a series of drawings, that have then been taken from the page and transformed into organic 3D forms.

A symbol of extreme beauty the blossoms align with my ethos that jewellery should last a lifetime and then have another.

Ivy

Ivy is said to be symbolic of friendship and growth, and was an inspiration to me during my time living in London when I was often far from lush green spaces. I found Ivy to be an inspiration and a burst of life. The hair slides in this collection have been paired with delicate Golden Orange blossom flowers, these were traditional fresh flowers worn by brides in the hair during Victorian times. I love the contrast between the opalescent white Ivy leaves and the 18ct Yellow Gold blossoms.

Forget-me-not

Influenced by forget-me-nots found in hand embroidered textiles, I use hand engraving to add floral details to this collection. Paired with the sentiment of Forget-Me-Not keepsakes, these pieces are made to be treasured forever. Made to make the wearer feel special every day.
