Vintage geisha postcard images were the initial inspiration. Creating a dreamy look with florals featuring heavily.

The inspiration for my first look book came from a collection of vintage geisha photographs I came across online. The soft and voluminous hair styles, delicate floral props and beautiful pensive models I felt would compliment my soft and delicate floral collections. I worked with stylist Ana Santos who brought the inspiration into the modern and sleek look that we created. She was excellent in her choices of wardrobe and help with selecting our model. She really brought the whole look together to have a very contemporary feel. She also found our hair stlyist! Thank you so much to Takanori Yamaguchi for creating these stunning and varied hair looks for the shoot. We had a lot we wanted to get out of the shoot in a small time and he really worked to make this happen!

And of course the Photographers IlkaFranz who helped me work on my first shoot, answered all of my questions and had all of the details down. Meaning we got every look that we were after. They have done some amazing work before and since this shoot so check them out!
